Double workout session yesterday.
I woke up in the morning quite sore because of the last evening´s run: 21km of steep up and downhill running workout. So, a recovery session was a must. Besides, the upcoming afternoon Oly-lift scheduled workout demanded some kind of "in advance muscle refreshment work".
According to this, I put together something that we could call "The whole body goodbye soreness welcome readiness workout".
It really worked. Later, in the afternoon, my Olympic lifting training session went smooth as silk (apart from the toughness of the activity itself) with my core and limbs fully ready for the task.
The stuff I made up goes like this:
1) Foam roller from neck to feet
2) The Stick on some knotted areas (specially on calves and hamstrings)
3) Mobility work and dynamic stretches (Sun salutes Yoga)
Hmmm...I felt better...then:
5 rounds easy breathing of...
10 Two handed Hardstyle KB Swing
3/side Turkish Get Up.
Anyway, I was sweating...
A shower, Lunch...and...See you later Oly-lift.
